My Garden and My Sweetheart

I haven't blogged for a while thought I would add some pictures of my garden and Yard. Peter has done a great job on it this year.

Vienna Austria

Peter and I had a great time visiting Miriam in Vienna. It is a beautiful City. We only got to see a few things because of the limited time. I would love to go back and stay much longer. Hope you enjoy a small glimpse of Vienna.

I had a great Christmas with Peter's family. We had duck for dinner and some other German specialities like red cabbage and potatoe dumplings. Tasted great. His family was very nice and game me some christmas gifts like a German cookbook and lots of Chocolate, if you're all nice to me when I get back I might share. :-)

Peter and I went to the graveyard to look around. Here are some pictures of the area. This is more artistic than touristy.

Germany 12-22-08

We went to another Christmas Market today. It was in a town called Jena about a 45 min. drive from Gera. Here are a few pictures of Jena. I bought lots of fun stuff for people at home but you will just have to wait to see it.

More fun in Germany. It has been raining but I am having a great time anyway. There are some more pictures of Gera and the Christmas Market. We went to church today in a small branch.

Germany my 1st day

My 1st Day in Germany was already filled with great things to see. Peter's family have been great hosts so far and I am really enjoying myself. Already, had Bratwurst and tried some Children's version of their Gluehwein. (Non-alcoholic of course.)By the way they overfilled coach on the way from Cincinatti to Frankfurt so they bumped Peter and I to 1st class. Very nice. The seats were like lazy boy recliners, which made it fabulous for our 7 hour flight. More to come.
